The shot takes place in the kitchen (L5) and afterwards in fling and Jills bedroom. fling is the narrator and her grandma, Nan, is black as she is Aborigine (L5). Jill is offers sister, they are immature (L9: fifteen). The characters who are mentioned were leeward and Susan. Lee is Jills bestfriend, they are preparefriend. whirl becomes aware of having Aboriginal origins. (L11: I had never thought of myself as being black beforehand). In the first lot, whirl goes back home and finds her granny crying and expressing her sadness. She feels upset. She fears her granddaughters ( cleft and Jill) might decline her. When Sally realises she has Aboriginal origins she is so flabbergasted that she doesnt move. It hurts in her eubstance to abruptly learn most her identity. Suddenly, she has a problem with her identity. (L10/11: What did that makes me?) The s part is the two sisters attitude.

Sally is naive, she doesnt know virtually Aborigines, the preconceived notion and discrimination against them. (Boongs) She doesnt care about what other mountain say. She lives in her own world. (L26: Honestly, Sally, you lives the whole of your intent on a stun!) Unlike her sister, Jill doesnt aacept her origin. She knows everything about Aborigines and she knew her grandmother was black. She fears she might be rejected. She feels humiliated. She likes educate and she necessitys to be accepted at trail. In the 3rd part we anderstand that Jill emergencyed to convince her friends. Sally and her sister are in a white school and at school there was racism, discrimination, prejudice and intolerance.
